Note: In the TF2 Shenanigans series I'm showing funny/awesome things that happened to me when I play the game. 
Guess who recently acquired a new obsession? XDD
I know I'm pretty late to jump on the bandwagon, but my brother showed me Team Fortress 2 last week and for some reason I really liked it. And that's really saying something because I usually don't care for shooters at all. But I love that this game is so silly and cartoonish in contrast to the majority of shooters that are trying to be ultra-realistic and dead-serious. That's just not my style.
Anyway, ever since then I tried my best to learn how to play so that I wouldn't be a burden to the more experienced players on the server. For this reason I often just watched matches of other players to learn how certain classes are handled best.
The comic you see here is based on one of the battles I observed:
BLU needed to reach the next control point, but RED's Engineer had built a well-placed sentry on top of a roof and made it impossible for BLU to move forward. A Pyro was hanging around with the Engineer so that no Spy could come close to them. BLU's Heavy and Medic somehow made it to the front in one piece and in the chat they agreed to uber and take out the sentry. But right before they could a RED Sniper took out the Heavy - who was then autobalanced to the RED team. Both the Heavy and the Medic started raging in the chat for obvious reasons. XD
RED won the game, but the BLU Medic and now-RED Heavy did a dosido dance together after the battle. So it was still a happy end. Kinda. XD
I guess you can expect some more tf2 stuff from me soon (probably without all these difficult weapons though! XD). lol
Let me know if you play(ed) this game too! I'd love to talk about it and the crazy lore! Or even play with you guys some time!
I do have to point out that unfortunately I had to go to my uni place again where my old PC can't handle the game... ;__; I'll be back at my parents' house around the whitsun break though.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this - probably really unexpected! - comic. XD I have to say it was kinda tricky to get the characters (and weapons) right because of the unusual style! Still, I enjoyed the new challenge a lot!
